To improve the interface and experience of children as well as adults using the AR spatial sound app, Fields; and use research to provide an update the aesthetics so that they align with existing mobile AR interface standards.
During the summer of 2018, as part of my UX/UI internship at Planeta, I was tasked with doing the foundational research that would spear-head the re-design of the spatial sound AR app, Fields.
At the time Chris Maier, my supervisor/the creator, app was looking to re-model it after receiving feedback from users expressing confusion with regards to what they could accomplish, and how to navigate the application.
This project was centered around designing an augmented reality exhibition which matched the experience of walking through the physical one. It needed to work smoothly and intuitively for fans of all ages, providing quite an obstacle since it uses such new technology.
